Hey guys, it was my first day yesterday of being on a completely raw diet and it went really great! I woke up this morning fresh & energetic, even though I had imagined I would feel fatigued after a raw diet that consisted of the smoothie in the morning & afternoon, and then some vegetables & fruits such as tomatoes, cucumbers, a carrot and an apple, the rest of the day. I have been accustomed to fasting for a few days ever since I was in my teens, but I still had the feeling that I may not feel content eating only raw food and might crave to eat something later which would be more fulfilling or satisfying. But on the contrary, I’ve never felt so good and happy inside out, in a long time!

I’m hoping my 2nd day of the raw diet shall be equally good and satisfying. Even though, I am having raw veggies and fruits for all my meals, I think it’s a good idea to boost my morning with some fun and energetic new smoothie. It surely helps in keeping my tummy satisfied as it’s thick and feels a little heavy. So today’s smoothie has an orange twist. The recipe for today’s smoothie is as follows:

Perfect smoothie to kickstart your mornings!

Ingredients
  • Papaya
  • Banana
  • Watermelon
  • Pomegranate
  • Sweet Lime
  • Tomato
  • Carrot
  • Cucumber
  • Mint
  • Shea seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Lemon
Directions
  • Step 1 Soak all the ingredients at least 20 mins before use and wash three times.
  • Step 2 Put all the ingredients in a mixer & blend it until it’s smooth. Pour it in a glass & garnish it with shea seeds and enjoy!
